BIO

Ann Giordano was inspired to make photographs by looking at family photo albums, watching home movies and writing down her dreams. Her images visually explore the narrative and are a personal documentation of life. Existing themes are people, dogs, horses, nature and everyday symbols, such as the house and the heart, continuing projects.
Photographs have been exhibited at the Light Factory, San Francisco International Airport, James Danziger Gallery, Candace Perich Gallery and the Camera Club
of New York. Work is represented in various private
and corporate collections and a series of autoportraits
is included in the New York Public Library Portrait Collection. Images have also been featured in Blind Spot, Time Capsule, Kit and Caboodle, LOOK3 Festival of the Photograph and PDN.
Ann lives and works in the New York City area.
